Job Detail: Associate Director, Early Childhood Education

IDMANN Academy provides tutorial support to secondary and pre-secondary age students via our class-leading online platform. Our flagship IDMANN Cooperative Parents' Alliance (CPA) provides elementary school students with an outstanding educational experience in very small groups. Parents seeking similar educational outcomes for their children voluntarily form 'cooperative alliances'. IDMANN Academy then develops a curriculum that meets the specific needs of the parents and their children, and delivers it exclusively to the students in the cooperative alliance. Our IDMANN Summer Camp (ISC) provides a broad-based educational and developmental experience for middle and high school students during the summer months, with ongoing tutorial support during the school year. We also offer the Entrance Preparation program (EPP) which supports students through a number of assessment and entrance examination preparations.

As our program grows rapidly, IDMANN Academy is looking for an Associate Director, Early Childhood Education, to support our efforts in providing affordable, world-class online early childhood education. The Associate Director will be responsible for the tutorial and pedagogical quality of our early childhood programs at IDMANN Academy. This position will include support of the CPA as well as the International Language Program (ILP), and will be responsible for instructional design as well as monitoring and evaluation for the early childhood programs. 

Prospective applicants should note the following:

• Successful applicants should expect to be engaged approximately 25-30 hours per week initially, with increasing responsibility and workload over time.
• We expect applicants to have hands-on familiarity with instructional design and delivery built around the Common Core standard.
• Applicants are expected to be well trained and certified early childhood educators with a minimum of five years experience in a similar (or comparable) role.
• Prior experience teaching online or familiarity with an online teaching engagement would be very helpful in this position.
