IDMANN Institute provides training in professional development and technical entrepreneurship through our College of General Studies and the School of Experiential Learning, respectively. We also provide secondary and pre-secondary tutorial services through IDMANN Academy. All our courses are offered online in live sessions with seasoned instructors. As the demand for our services has grown, we are looking to hire a Business Development Specialist to support our expanding market footprint. This role will support the development of new business accounts with commercial partners so as to expand the reach of our training and tutorial services.

Successful candidates will be expected to have prior experience developing business relationships with commercial entities with a view to meeting their educational and staff up-skilling goals. He/she will be expected to bring first-hand knowledge of developing working relationships with companies to secure corporate training opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have most, if not all of the following:

a) First-hand experience developing business opportunities targeted at corporate and commercial clients.

b) Ability to research, identify and engage new account opportunities by effectively and seamlessly interfacing with corporate establishments and other commercial entities.

c) Ability to support partner organizations to ensure that their needs are met and expectations surpassed in their prospective engagement with our organization. This will be achieved by clear, succinct and consistent communication with partners and associates.

d) Demonstrated ability to support a geographically disperse (virtual) spread of prospects would be a significant advantage.

e) Access to reliable broadband internet connectivity and a functioning laptop or desktop to enable effective operation.

f) Prior (or current) experience as a teacher, instructor, or practice supervisor/manager would be advantageous.

g) Prior experience teaching or learning using an online platform. (This would be very helpful.)
